Chapter 82. Ghost

Peter walked into the coffee shop outside of work. He stopped to get a coffee before he sat at his table to commence his day. He walked into the busy coffee shop. There were atleast 5 people in front of him. The Daily Coffee shop was one of New Yorks best shops so this coffee was worth the wait.

He stood looking at the television which had the news on. From the corner of his eye he glimpsed Annie. His wife ,Annie. He turned immediately, bumping the person in front of him, only to see no one in sight. Apologising to the man in front of him he began to wonder if her was seeing things.

''Was it a ghost?'', he shook the idea from his mind as he followed the queue, looking around hopoing to confirm that it was not his imagination.

Finally he reached the counter and ordered his double expresso coffee with extra milk. He decided to sit at a table a while and chevk if his imagination would run wild again.
