CHAPTER 101

Kyle helped her to her feet as they left the restaurant. Earlier, her heartbeat had not stopped beating so fast. She was almost startled when Kyle grabbed her by the waist as they left. To prevent her whole body from stiffening because of what the man had done,she turned around and smiled. She asked him where his car was parked. She was even surprised when he opened the passenger's seat door for her instead of the driver's seat.

"I didn't bring my car," he only said as he sat in the passenger's seat then took the key from her.

Astonished, she got in and sat in the passenger's seat. When he opened the door on the other side and sat in the driver's seat she then asked, "Why didn't you bring your car?"

He turned to her then smiled.

 

"So we won’t go home separately."
