CHAPTER 115

Her grandmother first took their children to town to give them a chance to talk. It was only her and Kyle inside her grandma's house at that moment. She remained focused on the floor. All she heard from Kyle was a heavy sigh.

She just waited for Kyle to speak before she started explaining. They are inside the room where her grandmother used to receive customer. They've been there for a few minutes now but still no one initiated the conversation.

"Why?" His voice was very low when he asked that.

In one word, she knew all the questions attached to that.  She in turn, sighed deeply. She looked up at Kyle's face. They are sitting in front of each other. It was as if she was waiting for the sentence that would be given to her because of her sin.

"You know why," was her short reply.

She already tried memorizing what she was supposed to say to Kyle when they reach this confrontation moment for so many times but still she was out of words.
