CHAPTER 47

She was still embarrassed when Mrs. del Espania's driver picked her up at her boarding house. She only carried one suitcase and a big bag because she didn't have many things with her. She was not able to buy a lot of things since she started working in Manila.

She requested to be picked up at seven in the evening that Saturday. She packed her things last night. She also cleaned her room and said goodbye to the landlord yesterday.

She couldn't put a name to what she exactly felt at that time. She was happy but seemed nervous as well. She was already in the car and looking out the window.

She had not yet informed her grandmother that she would be living temporarily at Mrs. del Espania's house because she was so sure she couldn't get away from her grandma's sermon.

The guilt was still there but she always reminds herself that she was not a fraud and not a scammer.

Not a scam? Then why were you giving instructions to your grandma that would benefit
