THE MISHAP-CHAPTER FIFTY

BELLA'S POV

It was after 6 am when I saw the medical team loading her into the ambulance in front of the building. It was heart-wrenching to witness her in that state, as memories of my late sister flooded my mind. She looked so pale, with her hands stained in blood. I couldn't fathom the immense pain she must have endured before resorting to such a drastic measure. The ambulance drove away from the premises. I noticed Jadesola standing near the entrance, looking visibly upset. It was the first time I had met her in person, and she seemed slightly different, perhaps having gained some weight. I approached her and softly said, "Someone should stay with her."

"Her mother is inside with her. I just need to clean up the bloodstains on the floor and that's all." She replied, but as she lifted her head, she met my gaze and said, "You must be Bella."

"Yes, madam." It would have been an opportune moment to be awestruck or request an autograph, but the circumstances were vastly different. T
