“Hello!!!” I said as I received a call from Shawn. I was in a meeting but since it was Shawn, I thought of picking it up as it might be an emergency.

“Sir, Jasmine’s alive.” He spoke and my eyes went wide not believing any word he spoke. The dossier in my hands dropped on floor and I stood up in panic. Of course, I wouldn’t believe such nonsense but her name was enough to make my insides shiver in agony.

“What?” I spoke not finding another word to describe the rush of emotions flowing through my veins.

“She’s here in the mansion. Please come fast and see for yourself!!!!!!!!” he spoke and I tried to grab a glass of water, but Mr. Sharma saw me struggling and passed it to me.

“If this is some kind of joke, I’ll kill you. I'm in a middle of an important meeting right now.” I spoke and disconnected the call, I had to manage myself and couldn’t lose it just yet. It might be a game of these bastards and Jordan might be pulling such a thing in order to tease me.
