Janna's hand was tightly clasped against mine while it rested on her thigh as we drove out of the territory towards the city. Beta Dominic was in a car behind us. And, as much as the Beta insisted on riding in the same car as me and Janna, the Alpha put his foot down and told the Beta that if he didn't follow his rules, he could forget having lunch with Janna.

Well, Alpha Jake just slipped back onto my list of good people.

I met the Alpha early this morning, demanding an explanation for allowing Janna to have lunch with Dominic, and I got more answers than I was asking for.

I knew Alpha Caspian was here in the territory and he was probably the one Janna saw last night, but it didn't sit well with me that they were mixing Janna into this mess. But at the end of the day, I trust my Alpha. And now, it is my fucking job to make sure that my girl doesn't fall for the Beta's charm.
