AARON
By this time, I was already exhausted from all the paperwork I had to complete for the elite group, and by the time I was done for the day, I immediately rushed out of the training building and went directly to the packhouse.
I wanted to see Janna and I was hoping everyone had retired to bed already, so no one would see me if I went directly to her room.
The packhouse was already quiet when I came in, but then Ark started to feel agitated that my first thought was Janna.
With hurried steps, I went for the stairs and found Janna holding onto the wall.
She was crying, and my heart clenched at the sight of her tear-stricken face.
"Janna?" I called for her and rushed to her side, pulling her into my arms.
She wrapped her arms around my neck and buried her face in my chest. "I'm sorry, Aaron. I'm sorry!" She mumbled these words again and again, and I was scared that she had done something that she was now regretting.

AARON Janna's hand was tightly clasped against mine while it rested on her thigh as we drove out of the territory towards the city. Beta Dominic was in a car behind us. AARON It was already hard enough watching Janna eat lunch with Beta Dominic, and it was even more irritating having to stay nice with the waitress, who was obviously flirting with me. It didn't slip my eyes the times that Janna's gaze was throwing daggers not just at the waitress but at me as well. And I couldn't do anything, so I tried my best to ignore the server because, as much as I was hundred percent sure I wasn't interested, I knew my little wolf. She could be nasty when she got jealous, and the last thing I wanted was for her to blow our relationship out in front of the Beta. JANNA I sat in front of Aaron just to make sure he kept his hands off me while we were in public. The last thing I wanted was for us to draw attention, even though I badly wanted to hug him already. JANNA 'Oh my Goddess, you're impossible! Go away from here and let me live!' I hissed at Aaron through our mindlink. I was just talking and listening to some of his warriors who were sharing with me and Pearl, my trainer, some of the hilarious stories they had during some of their encounters with the rouges, and Aaron just came hurling words at me like a hurricane. AARON I spent the last two hours getting everything I needed for tonight. I didn't really have much of an option since this one was planned on the spot, but I was glad Dad was helping me out.
