JANNA
Aaron didn't join us for dinner. He ate dinner together with his warriors and I was okay with that. I didn't like the idea of seating beside him and pretending that there was nothing going on between us especially with Andrea around.
I haven't gone on the full Aaron-Andrea thing yet with Aaron, and I was planning to do it later. I just wanted it off my chest because, as much as I trusted Aaron, his past and what I went through with Michael were enough reasons for me to doubt if someone would ever take me seriously.
Or if I would be good enough to be someone's priority.
And Andrea was just too perfect. I co
Here's the first one for today! Don't hate me yet, make sure to read the continuation first :D
AARON By this time, I was already exhausted from all the paperwork I had to complete for the elite group, and by the time I was done for the day, I immediately rushed out of the training building and went directly to the packhouse. I wanted to see Janna and I was hoping everyone had retired to bed already, so no one would see me if I went directly to her room. The packhouse was already quiet when I came in, but then Ark started to feel agitated that my first thought was Janna. With hurried steps, I went for the stairs and found Janna holding onto the wall. She was crying, and my heart clenched at the sight of her tear-stricken face. "Janna?" I called for her and rushed to her side, pulling her into my arms. She wrapped her arms around my neck and buried her face in my chest. "I'm sorry, Aaron. I'm sorry!" She mumbled these words again and again, and I was scared that she had done something that she was now regretting. "
AARON Janna's hand was tightly clasped against mine while it rested on her thigh as we drove out of the territory towards the city. Beta Dominic was in a car behind us. And, as much as the Beta insisted on riding in the same car as me and Janna, the Alpha put his foot down and told the Beta that if he didn't follow his rules, he could forget having lunch with Janna. Well, Alpha Jake just slipped back onto my list of good people. I met the Alpha early this morning, demanding an explanation for allowing Janna to have lunch with Dominic, and I got more answers than I was asking for. I knew Alpha Caspian was here in the territory and he was probably the one Janna saw last night, but it didn't sit well with me that they were mixing Janna into this mess. But at the end of the day, I trust my Alpha. And now, it is my fucking job to make sure that my girl doesn't fall for the Beta's charm. I was holding my breath while waiting for Janna to come down f
AARON It was already hard enough watching Janna eat lunch with Beta Dominic, and it was even more irritating having to stay nice with the waitress, who was obviously flirting with me. It didn't slip my eyes the times that Janna's gaze was throwing daggers not just at the waitress but at me as well. And I couldn't do anything, so I tried my best to ignore the server because, as much as I was hundred percent sure I wasn't interested, I knew my little wolf. She could be nasty when she got jealous, and the last thing I wanted was for her to blow our relationship out in front of the Beta. After what felt like an eternity, they finally decided to end their lunch.
JANNA I sat in front of Aaron just to make sure he kept his hands off me while we were in public. The last thing I wanted was for us to draw attention, even though I badly wanted to hug him already. I was scanning the menu when a female approached us, ready to take our orders. "Hi!" She said this in a very friendly voice. "What are we having today?" "Hi!" I replied without taking my eyes off the menu and started reading my order. "I'll have a grilled burger with barbecue sauce and fries. And then strawberry milkshake." Once I was done, I lifted my head to look at her and found a tall, blond female smiling seductively at Aaron. My eyes squinted before I slowly looked at Aaron in front of me. He was staring at the menu, but I could feel that he was anxious. His ears were starting to turn red. "Did you hear what I said?" I asked the female in a sarcastic tone. She tilted her head towards me before giving me a fake smile, "Yes pup, a grilled burger with barbecue sauce, fries, and
GAVIN I was in the office with the Alpha when the patroller sent a mindlink that Beta Dominic was already back and on his way to the packhouse. I and the Alpha spring into action. We weren't expecting them back at this point, and Alpha Caspian and Andrea were still in the middle of the forest doing what they were working on. Alpha Jacob rushed to where they were while I waited by the parking lot so I could take the Beta away from here. "Hey! You're back early." I closed the hood of my car and brushed my hands agains
JANNA "I really like you, Janna, and I was hoping I would get to know you more in the coming days." Beta Dominic was sitting in front of me on the patio beside the packhouse. They were about to leave, and since he was still waiting for Andreawho was with Alia and Beta Gavin, he requested to have a moment with me after breakfast. I smiled at him and nodded my head, keeping my hands clasped together and resting them on my knee with my legs crossed. "I'm sure we will have more time to get to know each other, Beta Dominic. I am not really in a rush to be mated with anyone. I still want to do so many things." "We can also do things together. Just let me know." He smiled coyly. "I'll keep that in mind." "Can I ask you something?" "Sure..." I raised my hand and checked my nails, this was slowly turning into boredom already. I wondered if I should just tell him point-blank that although he was good-looking and had nice abs, he wa
JANNA 'Oh my Goddess, you're impossible! Go away from here and let me live!' I hissed at Aaron through our mindlink. I was just talking and listening to some of his warriors who were sharing with me and Pearl, my trainer, some of the hilarious stories they had during some of their encounters with the rouges, and Aaron just came hurling words at me like a hurricane. 'I'm fucking counting! Go now! One! Two!' Aaron answered, and my eyes went up to look at him again. His hands were tightly gripping the balcony railings on the second floor, and if I was right, he was preparing to jump. Bloody hell! I abruptly turned my body around, which caused everyone to stop talking as I stomped out of the training quadrangle towards the packhouse. "Janna!" Pearl called after me before I heard running steps approaching. "Hey! We're not done for today. Are you okay?" She asked as she walked beside me. I nodded and tilted my head to look at her, sm
AARON I spent the last two hours getting everything I needed for tonight. I didn't really have much of an option since this one was planned on the spot, but I was glad Dad was helping me out. And he didn't even question why I was doing it. He just did what I asked him to do. After everything was set, I took a quick shower in my room at our house and took the key to my motorcycle, which I haven't used in a while. I couldn't even remember the last time I was in it. All I remembered right now was the feeling of nostalgia as I set the ball of my right foot onto the kick start lever and firmly pushed it down. I still have an old-school bike, but I prefer this one over the new one. And not long after, I was already driving the bike towards the packhouse to pick up Janna. The thought of her riding on my back was enough to pump up my energy. And then I saw her. I internally cursed myself when I saw what she was wearing. She
