The Alpha and I were seated in his office drafting the papers we needed for the position switch that was about to happen when we received a mindlink from Harrold at the border, saying that Aaron had arrived and he had Janna with him.
Alpha Jake couldn't help the smile from tugging at his mouth. We were expecting that they would patch up their differences, but we didn't know that he would be able to bring her back to the territory immediately.
At the news, Alpha Jake immediately informed his mate about it. In seconds, Luna Clair and Alia were in the office as well.
We knew that Janna and Aaron could never be fated mates. Jake had dispatched trackers to look for any siblings who were fated to be with the same set of siblings, but none of them returned with the information he desired.
