Chapter 31

Work. That's the only thing that is occupying my mind these days. Well, there's another one. Keeping Oliver in check. I don't want him falling off the rails and do something crazy or stupid, or both.

But there are days like today that we have nothing else to do. And I still chose to stay at the station. I don't even understand why because I can go home early or go somewhere else. Yet, I'm still here, sitting in my desk going through all the information we have gathered. Even though we've gone through all of it, and I know that doing this is just plain stupid.

"Chris, Oliver, we're going to the pub. You guys wanna come?" Norman announced on his way to the lobby.

"Oli, let's join them. Come on." Oliver was busy watching all the traffic cam footage he gathered yesterday. He wanted to see if he can map out the locations that the pick up truck had visited.

"I've got a lot things to do, Chris. You go ahead and enjoy."
