FLASHBACK 10
Lucifer had to patiently wait for the female’s mouth to close. When it did, he hissed in satisfaction but it opened again and Lucifer bared his fangs in annoyance. The female didn’t notice because she had heard something far worse than his brewing anger.
“He what?” She finally whispered.
“Lied to you”. Lucifer said to her.When she looked back at him, her expression had changed from shock to that of hurt. Lucifer wanted to laugh, she was going to experience more of that soon.
“Why would he hide that from us?”
Lucifer hissed.
“Isn’t it obvious, he is intimidated by you”.
The female looked at him with a confused expression.
“Why? He created us,there is nothing about Adam and I that is intimidating”. She said. Lucifer hissed. Even if she was extremely innocent, she was smart. And here he was thinking it will be easy for him to persuade her.
“He doesn’t have what you have”.
“And that is?”
AnnieHi guys. Please understand that I am writing these flashbacks so you can understand the upcoming chapters of the book and also so you won't miss out a lot of what Lucifer experienced during the time skip. Hope you enjoyed the chapter.

The voice that called out needed no introduction. Both Adam and his wife stood still with their eyes wide opened and their hearts beating fast.The voice did not call again and it didn't need to, Adam knew that if this were some other day he would have answered the call in a heartbeat. After so many years, one would have thought that Lucifer would have grown accustomed to the world he had landed in but reverse was the case. The more he stared at the occupants of the world, the less he saw of them but it didn’t bother him like before because unlike him, the humans did not see the potential in themselves. Azaliah didn’t know which sound to focus on, the hoots and yells of the angels or the light buzzing sound in her ears. She took a deep breath as she shook her head frantically in an attempt to dull the noise. Azaliah watched in horror as heaven fell into an uproar. She had seen this before, angels screaming and yelling, Michael barking commands at the other angels, structures falling and collapsing and speckles of golden dust littering the air. She had seen it all before but this time, it wasn't just in the walls of a temple, it was real. She was living it.She didn't know how long she stood like a statue, completely shocked. Hagne sat at the dinner table or rather, what was left of it with her children.
