"Mum, mum, please help me!" I shrieked.

My dad hauled me out to the gate. He yanked my hair so hard that I bled and winced aloud. He was very angry that my cries meant nothing to him.

"Please stop! You will kill her; she has a baby with her, and you are dragging her like that." She shouted.

My mother grabbed his hand, looked at his face, and asked him. "Where is your conscience?"

"You can't even consider the little baby she is carrying, your first grandson; what has this innocent child done to you?" She asked him.

My brother came to where I stood and grabbed little Leo, hugging and consoling him. My little one cried for me.

My father didn't care that it was raining; all that he cared about was that I left his house.

"Leo, please allow her to stay with her son and at least let the rain stop."

He growled at my mom.

"Dad, please. It's too cold out there. Let her come. You know that the cold is not safe for her." My brother said to him
