Jax dashed outside, and Josh rushed to me, pulling me behind him while scanning and sniffing around to see if he could detect anything.

I stood there frozen because I could not believe that it was happening again. Hearing my mate tell me that I might be in danger did not touch me, but seeing it happen to me again was terrifying.
