Chapter Ninety-three

Alex pov

Hayden had stayed in the living room to welcome his friend, while I was still in the room trying to make myself appear human.

He had not told me to come to the living room or anything; he only whispered, "I will be back."

Then he walked out. A few minutes later, I started hearing the sound of Finn's voice in our living room, and then I heard them laughing.

Finn said something about Hayden having a mate, and Hayden retorted back, which made him bark out a laugh.

I turned and quickly grabbed my phone to call Claire and inquire about the twins.

"Hello, Claire baby."

"Alex, How are you? What time are they going to discharge you today?" She asked. There was music playing in the background of the place where she was.

"I am already at home; where are you?"

"At home, some of Summer's old friends came here, and they have been blasting music since they came over. I am so thankful that the twins are not at home or they would not have gotten any sleep."
