Going To Academy's Plan

As we arrived home, exhausted from the day’s events, all we wanted was a good night’s rest. I sought out Alpha Matthew, finding him engrossed in a book in the living room, after putting Violet to bed.

“Is she asleep?” he inquired without looking up from his book.

“Yes, she is sound asleep,” I replied with a deep sigh. I then headed to the kitchen to prepare two cups of rich hot chocolate.

“I wanted some alone time with you,” I responded, hoping to reignite the spark in our relationship. “It feels like ages since we’ve had any quality alone time.”
