Mj looked around with wonder as the scent of wolves from all different calibers of power and age swirled above the now bustling embankment. She observed in awe as very large, muscular young men and women ran around staking stings of lights into the ground. I decided to combine the slang definitons for these two chapters, I hope yall dont mind CHAPTER 23 Juju- superstion based around luck, can be good or bad depending on context Caimon- another term for Alligator bebelle- doll, when referring to a young lady CHAPTER 24 Mon Cher- my dear beaute- Beautiful "Laissez les bon tempes rouler,"-- a french Cajun term, "let the good times role" HAPPY READING, and as always I am open to answering any questions as long as it doesnt give anything away. This time I have a small question for all of you. Mj listened to the subtle murmur of the talking in front of her, but she did not involve herself in the conversation. Her loneliness began gnawing at the back of her throat and out of some undeniable pull, she looked up toward the moon. Mj stopped and stared straight up as the shadows cast on the small, far off circle appeared to almost shift and change. Mj felt Theron’s presence alert to something nearby and as the heat from Eli’s body lit up the dark murky forest, Mj closed her eyes and waited until he was right above her in the drooping trees. Eli pushed his body downward toward what he assumed was the moon hypnotized female and was taken by surprise when she sidestepped his advance and the large man’s frame collapsed into the dirt with an unceremonious thud. Mj wasn’t certain what she was expecting to find, but the kitchen was just as packed with wolves as it had been when she had passed through with Jay. As she stepped into the room, a few girls who looked to be in their early twenties jumped off the kitchen table and smiled at her, “are you a hunter or just something pretty to look at,” Mj grinned with one side other mouth as she pursed her lips and rose a single eyebrow toward the snotty comment before turning to the other pack members standing at the stove, “is there a magic word to get a drink round here,” she said playfully and a woman lounging next to the fridge jerked her chin in Mj’s direction before she popped the rectangle ice box open and pointed to its fully packed contents, “take ya pick ma, we got water, beer, juice, even some fancy bubble water.” Mj licked her lips and grabbed a few tall dark bottles of beer and the woman whistled at her as she closed the door, “we sure preciate ya comin…

Nadine and Mj opened the door to the pack house and the sound of shouting blasted them in the face like an aftershock, as the two concerned Omegas rushed through the door to find Moxie with his body folded around Eli from the front. The rough around the edges' hunter had his legs wrapped around his brother's torso and was using his leverage to pound on the larger man’s face and chest with precise strikes “I will fuck you up if you ever touch a hair on her fuckin head, chicken hawk, asshole, stupid, inbred, giant, simple-minded, fuckboy excuse for a wolf,” with every blow Moxie landed he would spit a curse in Eli’s swelling face and as Mj looked at Nadine with concern the older woman only shook her head and mumbled as she made her way to the kitchen. Mj wasn't sure what to do, so she acted on instinct and made a B-Line for Moxie’s bedroom. As she burst through the thin, closed door Jay sat straight up in utter sho

Mj’s body snuggled further into the center of her deliriously peaceful sleep, but the alarmingly stiff appendage prodding her leg caused the sleepy Omega to turn her head to find Moxie’s still snoozing face tucked into the back of her neck with his hips lined up tightly with hers. Trying to alleviate the growing embarrassment, Mj tried to wiggle away but as Moxie’s arm flopped over the top of Mj’s body his fingers made contact with Jay’s now bare chest and the golden blonde wolf hummed in contentment. Mj tried to figure out a way to get out from between her slumbering brothers without waking them, but the closer Moxie pulled her to him the more she wiggled. Mj’s heart began to thump harder against her chest and as the heat started from her toes, the young woman’s body began to flail like a fish out of water. Our Swamp Alpha seems to have a serious infatuation with Mj, and it seems the other wolves are either playing some serious head games or Dante's absence might have paved the way for a new wolf in our assassin's life? Lila stretched her overly tired back and hummed in satisfaction as she laid down on the top of her freshly made bed, taking a deep breath the exhausted Beta settled in to enjoy her very precious, rare silent moment when her phone began to cry like an angry child in her pocket. Groaning and fishing the small device from her pants, Lila worried her eyebrows together when Jay’s name popped up on the screen. The Beta took a deep breath before answering, “Jay, good to hear from you,” she said in a calm tone and smiled when the hunter laughed nervously, “Ed made it home safe, but I have a few questions about my truck,” she continued and Jay began to stutter, “well you see Beta, it umm, well, there was this uhh--.” Lila started to laugh low in her throat, “don’t worry yourself too much about it Jay, Ed explained most of what happened and as long as you Moxie and Mj pay for repairs or replacement you won't be punished by the Alpha or myself any further, ok?”
