Nate stood behind the door and opened it so that I could see the empty corridor, surely Axel had hidden somewhere because he had done one of his.

"Axel" I called him more softly and he felt the imperceptible steps on the wooden floor "What are you up to?" I asked.

I saw Nate laughing before biting his lower lip to avoid making noise.

"Where are you?" I asked, looking down the hall.
