I started coughing nonstop and Axel looked at me and then pat me on the head.

"Mama no bad, mama good," he said in all seriousness.

Nate came over and placed a glass of water in front of me, I grabbed him and started drinking while Axel put his hand under it to lift him better.

"Why would he fire you?" I asked once she calmed down.

"Because I dropped the case and left," he said, scratching his head.

"What did you do?!" I shouted, making Axel jump with fear.

"I didn’t quit in the middle of everything. I had to put the last signatures to close permanently, usually whoever signs takes the credit and I decided not to sign because I wanted to go home," he said shrugging.

"Is it serious?" I asked, not understanding.

"Yes, if your father wants his name on such an important cause," he said.

"If you knew it was so important to him why didn’t you stay? It was just a few more days,"
