I woke up at the strong smell of food and because of the sound coming from the kitchen. My apartment is small, so my kitchen and living room are located just outside my bedroom. 

I don’t live alone inside a mansion just like Pietro. Even if I could afford a mansion, I don’t want to live in a huge place with so many rooms and spaces that I wouldn’t even use. 

Living in a small place where you only have to take a few steps to reach the bedroom and then the kitchen and the bathroom is way better than to live in a huge space where you will utterly feel all alone. 

I stood up, my eyes squinting from sleep. I did not even care if my hair looked like a bird’s nest. I immediately peeked my head outside the door to see what’s happening outside.
