Chapter 130: True Friend

“Why are you late today?” I ask as soon as I saw Pericles enter the office. 

For the first time, I arrived at the office earlier than he did, not only that he also arrived with a deep frown on his face which is very unlike him. 

Before, I used to come to office wearing his frown. He always came to work with smile on his face despite the workload that he has to deal with. 

Today, it looks like the world has turned upside down for we had exchanged expression. What a strange day it is for us.  

Pericles looks at his wrist watch knowing too well that I wasn’t referring to his time of arrival, but the fact that I arrived at the office first before he did. 

“What do you mean late? I just came right on time,” Pericles answers me still with the frown on his face.
