Chapter 45: His Reason

I tilted my head to the side as I looked at him more closely. He doesn’t look as pale as last time, in fact I could already see the faint color growing on his lips. It seems like he is recovering well and he is not neglecting himself.

Of course with his consigliere looking after him, he wouldn’t be allowed to neglect himself fully.

Since he was wearing a loose sweater, I can’t tell if he had lost weight and I couldn’t see signs that he is hiding a deep injury inside under that sweater.

Although he is wearing black, I could still see vitality in his eyes and his skin has that rosy complexion that shows he is recovering quickly.

I’ve never saw him wear anything this casual before, so this was a new look for me. He actually looked very unlike him. He looked more soft than rough, like a guy you could pass by anytime in the street.

However, this isn’t the first time I’ve seen him wearing all black. He looks good on dark shades and not all people can look good with that color. I
