I had been driving around the streets of Chicago like a mad man because my stepsister had decided to go missing again and was refusing to pick her damn calls.

I swear to fucking God, when I find her, I will handcuff her to a headboard and never let her out of my sight.

Rain pattered down on the windshield of my car, making it harder to see tonight.

My phone buzzed and I pressed a button on my earpiece, hoping to God that it was news about Bianca. I had every man within a five mile radius looking for her.

"Boss."

"This better be good news." I growled at Alfonso, my tone cold and dark as fuck, fed up with his inability to get his fucking job done.

I used to trust him with my life. He had proven his loyalty and dedication to me time and time again and it was the only reason I trusted him to look after Bianca. But these days, he's fuckups have been nothing short of monumental.

I hated to have to relieve him of his duty, because the only way to go about that was a bullet through
