Chapter 57: Finding the Criminal - Part 1

Derrick spent the night at the hospital with Lily. He sat on the chair with his head resting on the space left on the side of the hospital bed.

Rose had finally slept after their loving-making session but Luis could still not sleep. He had a lot on his mind. He blamed himself for what happened to Lily. If he had not ignored her the way he did, she wouldn't have left and perhaps she would have been fine.

"Is this accident an act of revenge for Lily killing Mrs. Mingle? or Sheila and Jennifer are still after her? or is it an accident?" He thought

"Wait, if it was an accident, the driver would have waited instead of driving off." He took a deep breath.

His attention quickly went to Rose who moved in his arms, like she wanted to get up but lay back in his arms. He eventually closed his eyes and slept.
