Episode 34

"Hey, darling. I came as soon as I heard."

Hanord waiting outside the intensive care unit, turned at the sound of the familiar voice calling from behind. Excruciating hours had passed in their faces.

"Were you able to meet with the doctor, recommended by doctor Smith?"

"Yeah. We'll talk about it later, but please, come sit for a sec, you look like crap." On her heels and simple flowing gown, Natasha joined Hanord. She helped the weary Hanord to a chair that was pressed against the wall. "Come here, sweetheart."

Dragging a deep breath in, Hanord kissed his wife on the lip and wrapped his arms around his wife, then shut his eyes as he inhaled her intoxicating scent. "God, this feels nice! I haven't had a good rest since forever."

"You did so good, babe. You did good." Sighing heavily, Natasha patted Hanord's back softly. "How's that little angel doing? Any improvement?"

As Hanord detached himself from his wife, Natasha dropped her bag on the floor near her foot. Her eyes welled with tea
