Chapter 3 The Strong

Nangong Xun felt a little disappointed. Before he stopped, Dugu Muyou held her body resting on the ground to support herself.

She spoke slowly with a trace of blood flowing down the corners of her lips.

"I can do it. Come on. Let me see how painful it is!"

Her hands were tightly held together, and her nails were deeply embedded in the flesh with clear imprints of her fingers. But the physical pain was nothing compared with that in her brain.

The golden Qi looked soft, but it was like a beast ripping and tearing Dugu Muyou's meridians after rushing into her body. She often got injured when she was on a mission in the past, but it was nothing compared with this pain. If everybody could bear the pain of opening body meridians by external forces, the masters of the Dugus would have already done that to Dugu Muyou, and she would not have been a muggle for 19 years.

Dugu Muyou's body was like a rag. Without Nangong Xun's silver light that covered her, she would have fallen down anywhere at any time.

She clenched her teeth and insisted. But she couldn't help thinking of death because of the splitting pain.

Blood flowed down the corners of her lips. It was strange and horrible. When she wanted to give up, the figures of the betrayers suddenly appeared in her mind somehow. They looked at her sarcastically, satirizing her over-confidence.

"I couldn't die. Why did I need to take so much pain? I will travel time and space to let those who betrayed me get a deserved end. I will let those who laughed at me be trampled under my feet!"

Nangong Xun felt that Dugu Muyou was dying, so he intended to take back his spiritual power with a slight sigh.

Suddenly, she opened her eyes with a fierce expression in her eyes. It was like a sword out of the scabbard. She straightened her body slowly. Although it was hard, she didn't need to rely on the help of the silver light.

"I can do it!" She said confidently to Nangong Xun, "As long as I survive, I promise that I will be strong in a year. I will have the ability to stand by your side and won't let you down."

Blood came out of her mouth when she said every sentence. She didn't mind it and rudely raised her sleeve to rub it. She nodded towards Nangong Xun.

Nangong Xun did not respond. He slightly raised up his hands, and more golden Qi surged into Dugu Muyou’s body.

Dugu Muyou's body cracked. She endured much more pain than before. Although she didn't know how painful it was to get through all meridians, she knew it was the beginning.

The golden Qi surged forward, but Dugu Muyou smiled with resolution.

Being hardhearted, she wanted to watch those people who hurt her going to hell!

When Nangong Xun took back the golden Qi, Dugu Muyou felt relaxed. She closed her eyes comfortably, stretched her arms, and made the gesture of embracing the world.

Suddenly, she roared and was bounced into the air. The cracking sound in her body was like the sound of glass shattering.

"Nangong Xun!"

Dugu Muyou's scream sounded. Her body in the air was very light. If she hadn't worn the worn-out clothes, she would have been fascinating.

Her black hair turned to purple-blue, flying over the sky with the night wind. In the distance came the cry of the frightened magical monsters, as if they had been scared by Dugu Muyou's breath.

Landing softly, Dugu Muyou laughed pretentiously with apparent arrogance.

"Thanks for your help! I will fulfill my promise." She said confidently, feeling relaxed when she hewed the air with her hands. "From now on, I will no longer be a muggle. I will tread the world under my feet and become the top!"

"Far from that. You're too weak!"

Nangong Xun said coldly and his words instantly dampened Dugu Muyou's arrogance. She tried to look at Nangong Xun's eyes but failed because she still didn't have the courage to do that.

Nangong Xun had a relentless pair of eyes. She could see nothing but coldness.

Nangong Xun removed a necklace from his neck and kneaded it casually in the hand. The necklace and the pendant were fused together and turned into a diamond.

His hand touched the middle of her eyebrows. The diamond was directly embedded into the middle of her eyebrows, but she could not feel any pain.

"Yuehua Diamond will help you practice and let me feel you. You need to be strong as soon as possible. Remember what you said today." He said, "Blood Fox is injured, so it can’t help you now. You can only find ways to improve by yourself. After I leave, you stay here. Although the magical monsters here are very weak, they are very suitable for you to practice."

He didn't give Dugu Muyou any chance to speak and disappeared directly by turning into a ray of blue light.

Dugu Muyou touched the middle of her eyebrows which were smooth. She did not feel anything unusual, but Yuehua Diamond was really embedded in the middle of her eyebrows.

This man was terribly powerful. She was going to be as strong as him. She did that for avenging hatred instead of having the qualification to become his woman.

Betrayal was absolutely irreconcilable!
