Chapter No.32: Lillian Is Dead

"Mom, what happened to you?" I asked Mom, forgetting about everything, and ran towards her hurriedly. My mom used to be so full of life, she was healthy and beautiful. But, as I look at her now, I can't help feeling myself as the reason for her condition and hate myself.

When my mother realized I was about to burst out crying, she helped me open her arms and hugged me tightly, and how much I missed the feeling of my mother's comfort. There is a place on earth better than being in your mother's arms and getting comforted by her.

"Mom, I....I...I am so sorry. I am so sorry. I did this to you? Didn't I? I am the one to be blamed, right?" I asked Mom between hiccups as I cried. My mother smiled and wiped my tears away, and shook her head.

"No...no...no, my beautiful Angel baby. You are not the one to be blamed for this Why would you say that? I am getting old so my health is eventually going to get affected but I will be fine now that you are here." my mothe
