Chapter No.52: The Engagement Dinner

At the penthouse terrace, with ample space and the soft glow of city lights, after leaving Lily with her grandparents Lucas looked over the skyline of the city. The cooling breeze of the night spread over the atmosphere as it transported the prophecy of an exciting event. Tonight was special in the sense that it celebrated the engagement ceremony of Emilia and Lucas, and began their journey full of ups and downs. The only thing that Lucas could imagine was dining intimately and being romantic.

He looked away from the scene and there was an amused twinkle in his eye as he went forward with his strategy.
