Samantha had called Kingston, and he assured her that Allen could take care of himself. Immediately she dropped the call with Kingston, Allen's call came in. Although Allen said there was nothing wrong, Samantha didn't believe him. She knew that Allen was hiding something from her, or maybe because he didn't want to add to her worries, but either way, Samantha planned to get the truth out of him, later.

Samantha walked to the living room and her father was seated on his wheelchair. Now that she thought of it, she had previously asked her father to help find her elderly patient's missing son. She didn't hear from her father, and that should have made her know, that something was wrong. Her father never wasted time in helping her find people, whenever she needed him to.
