LEO

Sarah paused, staring at me like she had seen a ghost.

"I... I'm sorry, what did you say?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"I said, let's get married," I spoke firmly.

Sarah's hand clutched the towel around her body and took a step back, putting a bit of distance between herself and me.

"I... I don't understand," she stammered, shaking her head.

"We... we've never even talked about getting married before."

"I know Sarah," I said, getting on my feet.

"I've thought about this for a very long time, and I realized that it's the best thing to do."

"Why Leo, why marry me?." Sarah asked.

"Well, at least you will have a ground here with the Limberts, just in case."

"Do you only want to marry me because you feel sorry for me?" Sarah blurted out.

"No, that's not it at all," I said in my most earnest voice.

"Then why would you bring up marriage all of a sudden?." She asked, crossing her arms across her bosom.

"I'm in love with you, Sarah!."
