29. Shocking news

Kaylynn's POV :

As I went to see Ruby, I met Mom. I could see that she was seething anger as she looked at me.

"Mom, where's Ruby??" I asked like I didn't notice her mood.

"You want to see her now. She was continuously calling you early in the morning and you never picked up. And even closed all mind linking as well. You very well know that as she wasn't familiar with cooking, she would fail even if you gave her those recipes. You must have wished that the King would get angry and punish her…"

"Mom, what are you saying?? I don't mean any harm for her. I went to work out as usual. I normally block the mind linking while doing yoga. And when I came back I saw her missed calls and came here as soon as possible. And what do you mean, Mom?? It was her responsibility to serve the King, not mine. And do you know what she done??
