Weeks and weeks of pain-inducing training, feverish heat on blistering cold days and hurt so strong that it could make a grown man scream. Josh could no longer take this disguised abuse, every moment spent with either pair of vampires tugging tears from the depths of his dried reservoir.
Time and time again has he been tossed to the ground like some spineless rag doll, his head bouncing off the floors and his spine crying in sweet anguish. His skin, his feet, his everything, screamed in bloody agony as he pushed himself up, dusting his hair from all the grass.
He bleakly looked up at the psychotic duo that was Amber and Bianca, both chatting away with not a care in the world. Amber’s laughter almost mocking to his lesser form. He couldn’t take this anymore. Why did he have to train? God knows why a weak and feeble creature, or so they have called, would need to go through this obvious waste of time.
For Alex it was understandable, he was a pureblood
Josh let out a yawn walking back into the house, his body never having felt so refreshed. He still hurt though, his feet stinging from the spiky path he was forced down and his skin slightly sunburn from the excessive amounts of sun.His fingers snaked under his curls, rubbing the centre of his forehead where he clearly remembered the coolness of the touch stroking his face. The more he thought of it, the stronger he was convinced that it was all just a dream. A really nice one to add to that.“Good afternoon Josh,” Alaster greeted, Josh forced out of his thoughts, his eyes glancing over at Alaster who stood not too far from him.“Alaster, Hi,” He answered, a warmth taking over his chest. He lightly smiled, Alaster reciprocating that action.“I see you’ve finished your training quite early.”Josh nodded, arm hooking behind his neck. “Yeah, Amber and Bianca had stuff to do.”Alaster smiled
“You did good today,” Griffin said, Alex internally celebrating since his body was incapable of any movement. He took shallow breaths, controlling each one as to not strain his constricted chest. There was a pain sauntering through his body yet he couldn’t tell where it came from. However, Griffin’s words of praise were enough to bundle all of his sufferings and throw them off into the distance. He never thought the day would come where he was actually acknowledged by the thorn princess as Josh likes to call him.Alex let out a sigh, staring up at the bleary grey sky, heavy rain clouds rolling by darkening their surroundings. A thunderstorm would most likely sweep by which worried Alex. Josh despised of them to the greatest degree, a pained memory surfacing in Alex’s thoughts he’d much rather keep buried. Low rumbles of thunder erupted off in the distance, a strong gust of wind passing by.Alex forced himself up, only now noti
“Going somewhere?” Alex asked, watching Josh throw on a jacket, Alaster twisting his hair into a messy bun. Xavier had also stopped, eyeing Alaster as well.“Yeah, going to the other clan house,” Josh said, a frown replacing the once sombre features on Alex’s face. His brows dipped, his eyes scanning Josh’s expression.“Don’t worry, I’ll be back tomorrow morning,” Josh said, Alex shaking his head.“No, it's not that.”Alex refused to say more, sighing, now rubbing his neck. “Never mind.”“Alex, I’ll be fine, apparently there’s some teleportation thingy they set up so we won’t be going outside,” Josh smiled, reassuring Alex slightly but that hardly quenched his worry.“You’re going with Alaster?” Alex asked, Josh shaking his head.“Sadly not, he’ll be going off with Amber and Griffin,” Al

A bright light came crashing onto Alex, yellowing his vision despite his closed eyes and hugging his exposed skin in its warm blanket. He took a deep breath, shifting around to try fall back asleep but something was restricting him.His cheek was pressed against something smooth a ticklish feeling snaking up his cheek, playing at his nose. His eyes slowly opened, blinded by the harsh sun bathing his vision gold. Slowly it adjusted, his hand moving over the hard surface he lay on.He turned his head only for his lips to brush against skin, smooth warm skin that brought a tingly feeling upon contact. Alex could barely grasp what was happening, everything still dreamlike. Was it sunny?Alex brought his hand to feel the head that laid beside his, caressing it gently, his eyes tempted to fall back closed. A hand lay nestled around his waist, slightly up his shirt lightly stroking his back. The feeling was nice.Nice.Nice?Alex shot
“Don’t,” Alex warned, raising a finger to Amber who was standing right at the bathroom door where he’d just come out of. He wasn’t ready to explain balls shit to anyone, especially Amber who already knew everything cause god forbid she keep to her own thoughts.“If you already know, why do you have to do this,” Alex groaned, wiping his wet face with his shirt, making his way back to the living where Josh sat patiently awaiting his return. His cheeks were still blazing from the scene from moments ago, his chest tightening each time his mind ran over it. If it wasn’t for Xavier being there at the time, he was quite literally going to bury himself in the couch.“So, you gonna explain or are you gonna keep me waiting?” Josh asked, raising a brow as Alex fell next to him. He let out a loud sigh, playing with his overgrown hair, avoiding his friends stabbing gaze. Thankfully Amber had left him alone although
“I see it’s happening to you as well,” Amber gritted through her teeth, barely paying mind to the middle-aged man walking over to them.“I’m sorry to disappoint but I’m not your principal.”“Alaster!” The two shrieked. Of course that would make the most logical sense. How else could anything weird be explained in a house full of vampires? The Vampires themselves of course.“So you can shapeshift?” Josh asked, Alaster’s form slowly morphing to that that of a voluptuous woman, hair a sandy blonde and eyes a deep brown.“Precisely, but it seems that I can’t control it today,” Alaster smiled, his voice throwing Alex off greatly. Not only did he have the look, but the voice a woman as well, hell if he hadn’t watched I spawn before him, would have believed that the person before him was a woman and nothing else. Thank god Alaster was mannerful or else his power would
Alex fell to his knees at Xavier’s side, hand wrapping around his shoulder to prop him. Xavier’s skin burnt at Alex’s, the room much warmer, and his breath climbing in speed. Each breath was as hallow as the last, beads of sweat climbing at his temples. He could barely keep his head up, let alone stand without any support. Alex helped him to the bed, laying him down and puffing a breath. It was happening to him too.The worry he’d carried from what he’d just witnessed, doubled. His hands fiddling with the hem of his shirt and he chewed at the inner of his cheek. Xavier turned and twisted, Alex frozen there, barely able to form a thought. His eyes darted around the room, his feet carrying him around in hopes of calming his overheating head. He’d never taken care of a vampire, and neither did the classes with Alaster talk about nursing a vampire to health. They weren’t even supposed to get sick!Alex ran a ha
