Five Years Ago.

Naomi’s P.O.V.

It was our second wedding anniversary. My husband rarely stays home, and I wanted to do something different to surprise him. He had no idea I was planning this because of our lack of communication. But I hope this would change his mind.

“What do you think about this?” I asked Sandy.

She sat on a chair with her legs crossed, sipping out of her wine glass. I wanted everything to be perfect, so I called my friends to help, although numerous maids were in the house. I didn’t trust their taste but believed in my friend’s taste. If they claim it was okay, then it was fine.

I had ‘specially decorated the room attractively. I got the idea from one of the books I read.

Sandy scrunched her nose up, “I think this is all childish. What has that flower got to do there? You guys are already married, not some sort of teenagers hoping to bang each other.”
