Chapter 22

Yana's PoV

Everything seems to be happening in a daze, my mind is blank and my heart hasn't stopped racing. Zach brought me home and called Laura but I haven't said a single word to either of them. Zach sighs for the hundredth time, running his hand down his face.

"Baby, please tell me what happened." He pleads softly.

Laura follows suit, clasping her warms hands around mine. "Sis, talk to me please. Even Alex is worried about you." She shows me thr thread of messages between them.

Fresh tears roll in torrents down my face and I swipe them angrily. "The bastard accused ME of leaking company documents, can you believe that?!" I shout.

Zach's face instantly contorts in anger while Laura gasps loudly. "Wh..what? Tell me that's not so!" His breathing becomes laboured instantly.

I laugh but it's sad, "Yep, it's a good thing I started using IP addresses to track certain things." Chuckling, I run my hand through my hair. "He must've forgotten because that's how I proved my innocence."
