Chapter 93

Jason was still in his apartment, cleaning up what was left of Tamara. He had forgotten some things that were left behind. His mind had been wandering for a while, and he had been drowning in turmoil for some time.

Emily's decision broke his heart. That much was clear. And he no longer felt the same zest for life.

Jason thought he could rebuild the marriage that had ended, and maybe he and Emily could be reunited next. However, it turned out to be no easy feat.

Emily no longer wanted Jason like she used to.

We realize how much we love and how precious someone is when we lose them. And Jason didn't expect that he would feel it too.

His cell phone rang, who knows how many times. He wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone, especially since everyone was happy about the birth of his son, Liam. And that's not the problem with Jason's current unhappiness.

Emily had completely forgotten him as Liam's father. She didn't even give Jason any news and refused his calls, even if it was a few times.
