Chapter 20 (part 1)

"You shouldn't spend so many hours in front of that screen. Your pretty, clear eyes might suffer."

The mocking voice coming from the door made William look up. Then, somewhat annoyed at the intrusion, he looked at his leather-clad heckler.

Claire had taken over his house for three days, turning it into the headquarters of the who-knows-what unmasking operation. For three days, William had been forced to endure the man's intrusion into his personal space.

The fact that Sun Wĕi Qí was an integral part of that bizarre investigation group irritated him greatly. But, being in the minority, he could only grudgingly accept the situation.
