Chapter 56 : A dance in the sea

Natalie paused, a nostalgic smile on her face as she reminisced about her childhood memories. "Well, I don't really remember the whole issue, or even how it happened. It was a long time ago, when life actually meant something to me when my two beautiful angels were with me – my lovely parents," she said, her gaze drifting upward toward the sky.

Liam listened intently, waiting for her to continue and share the whole story with him.

Natalie took a deep breath and continued, "Remember I told you I used to go fishing with my dad on Sundays back in Mexico?"

Liam nodded eagerly. "Yes, yes, and how you would smoke the fish before sending them home," he recalled with a smile.

Natalie chuckled, the memories flooding back. "Those days were the best days of my life, even till now," she said fondly.

"My dad had gone to look for some fresh woods to set up a fire, since the ones we had brought got wet when it started to rain shortly after we came out from the boat, at the far end of the sea"
