Chapter 24 (His space)

Zayla’s p.o.v

“He’s still a kid by heart,” Aunt Nancy laughed seeing Gabriel walk out like a stubborn child and I followed her.

I liked that he was jealous and that he wasn't even hiding it.

“So, come with me,” she grabbed my hand and took me to the backside of the house.

The minute I walked out I involuntarily gasped out loud. That was the most beautiful place I’d ever seen in my whole life. A beautiful wide lake, jungle in the other end, waters reflecting the color of the sky and a wooden, no railing bridge that ended right at the center of the lake.

“This is beautiful Aunt Nancy,” I stated.

“It is right? When Max and I were looking for a place to build our house, we found this place and I instantly fell in love with this scene. So, we built a house here and made it our home.”

“I hope I get to live like that too Aunt Nancy.”

“Why are you saying it with so much sadness? Gabriel will turn this world upside down just for you to be happy.” She gently smiled at me. Her eyes weren
