It had been three weeks since she had rejected Byung-Ho, she thought that would be the end but he had written an epistle of how he understands and would still love the chance to prove that he is a better man, he sent this as a note with a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates. He was relentless in his pursuit as he kept sending different gifts ranging from surprise lunches, flowers, cake, a paid spa day, bags, shoes her closet had multiplied and was looking too small for all the gifts. With a click of her phone she began to have a similar conversation with her best friend because Nigerians are of course always dramatic no matter the age.Of course after all the celebrations had worn off Tj began to think about how this is going to be a new beginning for her and how she had to let in everything she’s got to make this work. Byung-Ho had been anticipating a reply from Tj as he had sent her an “I miss you text”, since she had sent him a text two weeks ago. Although it had been just a thank you message, it had opened up a conversation and he was happy that they were finally talking once again even though it was just basic conversations and she had requested that he stop sending gifts even though he had wanted to argue, he was smart enough not to start a fight when she had just started to reply his messages. Two days before she had to leave, she was excited to enjoy a night out with the girls, she had prepared herself to drink the night way and use the whole day tomorrow to recover before her flight. That was the plan so why was Irene texting her to get dressed twelve hours too early, and she was coming to pick her up?. She decided to throw on some light make up, she was still in the process of make up when she heard a knock on her hotel room door. Irene pulls Tj away to the bar, the way she was fuming, you would think Chidi was her cheating ex. Once they were safely away from Chidi, Irene sat Tj down at the bar and ordered them both a drink. Tj couldn’t help snickering at Irene's irritation, she loved the fact that her friend was the most loyal person ever, twenty years of friendship and she honestly loved her a lot. Tj made sure to use a whole day to recover from the party, clubbing and after party, but now it was the day she would be taking her flight down to Korea, the other directors would be taking their flights earlier but both Celia and Tj had decided to take afternoon flights so they could say all of their goodbyes. The timing for the journey was impeccable as the Urban Oasis team arrived during the weekend and are set to resume on this glorious Monday morning. Tj woke up bright and early, well rested during the weekend and was completely ready to start the day, as the little nerves that weighed her down before the trip had completely disappeared. According to the plans related to her by secretary Ahn, there should be a bus waiting outside for the entire staff, residing at the hotel. She would be meeting her assistant and secretary today for the first time, just a few months ago she was someone's assistant and here she is preparing to set up her schedule with her assistant.
