A week after the incident… Rex woke up feeling lonely and cold, his mood was sourer than rotten eggs left in the refrigerator for weeks and nothing on the television, not even the daily newspaper can cheer him up. Somewhere outskirts of NY…Susanna took a mini vacation from a small town just outside of New York to kill the chase and buy some time, because she knew Rex already suspected her of the plot against Cherry and her recent absence might give him the hint. It’s another faithful day and Maria is clearing the kitchen while Cherry busied herself with some house chores approved by Maria for her to do. After she was done she heads back into the living room to help Maria but a sharp pain shoot right up her left leg rendering her paralyzed that she had to hold the wall close to the door for support.“Cherry are you done? Early, the next morning…Rex stayed behind to look after Cherry while Maria went to visit her parent (not by choice) to learn some cooking ideas from her mother and give Cherry and Rex some privacy. Rex made sure to cook Cherry something light the previous night so she can sleep but he didn’t know she was a heavy eater, she ate three plates of scrambled eggs but didn’t finish the slices of bread he gave her.Rex spent half of his sleep time on a sofa by the corner which gave him neck and back pains but later joined Cherry on the bed when she constantly switch position on the bed to find comfort.
