Ch35: Mistakenly trapped
“You piece of trash I am talking to you!” Ann screams in fury at Cherry.
“Mind your business Annie, would ya.” A guy told Ann which abruptly shuts her up. He prevented the boiling receptionist from chasing after Cherry which made Cherry grateful to him.
The elevator ride to the thirteenth floor felt like a long journey through the desert, she waited impatiently for the elevator to reach the thirteenth floor, soon it reached Rex’s floor and opened slowly. Cherry wasted no time and dashed out running straight into Rex’s office without knocking. Thinking about seeing an injured Rex or a dying Rex she was surprised by what mistakenly appears in front of her eyes.
