Ch40: Drawn
By the time Rex got inside the suite Cherry was still standing where she was left. Her eyes undoubtedly sank in the beauty of the room, for a second her focus was drifted from the luxury to Rex entering the room. She secretly observed the change in his demeanor, there was something wrong after he left the room and she was curious to know.
"What happened? You look… not… happy?" Cherry nervously asks him but kept her distance.
"It's nothing.” He replied but had a disturbed look crossing his face almost diverting his attention from the world.
“Okay?” Cherry says while awkwardly standing beside him.
“What do you want to eat?" Rex inquire and stood up to cook something for them.
"Anything." Cherry shrugs and follows him. She sat on a stool and watched him get to work. This kind of moment was new and uncommon, it was something definitely worth watching because it may also be the last time it will ever happen.
