Back at Rex’s penthouse (Rex finally faced his family)…

“You can say what you think is best but there is no way I am ever going to be in your secret gang, and you all are not welcome in my home!.” Rex tells his mother but tries to maintain a calm demeanor. She might be the worst mother of all time but he still has to show some respect as an older person and a mother to him.

“Really Rex, I thought our meeting would be much different, you know, after being apart for nine years. I was looking forward to a reunion.” Hannah spoke looking away to show regrets in exchange for sympathy.

“Aw- mom, don’t be sad. I’m sure brother is just upset about something.” Kayla comforts her mother.

“Just look at you both, your traits are the same, so don't claim you know me!. I am not the same boy you knew in the past mom, spare me the drama.” Rex flares up in anger.

“Why are you so upset with us Rex? Especially mom?.” Kayla asked him.

“I am not upset- I am furious, at you both! and your presence just made
