CHAPTER 27: Poisonous Berries

“Y-you . . . did you actually rip that wolf in half with those bare hands?” I asked, pointing at the head in his hand with its eyes still wide open as though it’s staring at me with hostility.

Lucius glanced down at the body parts he was holding and dropped it down the ground. “Oh, was I too brutal? I’m sorry you had to witness that.” He chuckled, wiping his hand on the dead wolf’s fur.
