Chapter- 32
Naomi walked back to the building losing all the interest to go out. Nick followed her silently, he doesn’t want to create a scene in the lobby.
In the elevator, Nick kept staring at her but she didn’t bat an eye at him and looked down the whole time.
He tried to say something but he’s hesitant too. He not only exposed his other side, but he has also put their family secret at risk. Now she’ll ask a million questions about everything and he can’t say the answers until her father reveals. He clenched his teeth in frustration.
Once they came to the house, Naomi sat down on the stairs. She doesn’t know what to ask him that much she’s shocked. Even the gun didn’t scare her but his uncontrollable rage to hurt someone scared her more.
“Hey,” he touched her shoulders. Naomi moved away from his touch.
“I can explain,” Nick said and kneeled before her.

Chapter- 33 The next day, Naomi walked straight to her father’s study room when Nick dropped her at her home. Today is Sunday and she thought he will be here. To her surprise he was there in the garden, watching the rain and nature sipping his coffee. More importantly, he’s alone. “Naomi,” he smiled when he saw her.
