Chapter Eighty-nine

Aden's POV

Elliot called to tell me Lisa was nowhere to be found. This was weird because Elliot had told me he would wait for her to be done with her classes, and then they would both go to her apartment to pick up her stuff and finally come over here. That was how it was supposed to be.

That was the plan!

My world was falling apart. The crisis was growing; Kierra is with my evil twin brother, Madam Charity has been stuck in that prison called a house for ages, Menessa is dead, Charles is nowhere to be found, and Lisa has gone missing for hours now. What wrong have I done?

Perhaps I am cursed! That was the only explanation for why I had a series of problems.

People around me end up getting hurt or dead. I was losing confidence in myself. Whenever I think of getting back what my brother took from me; that's becoming an Alpha again, I stop to ask myself if I deserve it. I feel like an imposter.
