I was surprised at my composure, at how I was able to play it cool for a week.

Both I and Beatrice acted like we didn't know what Lucian was involved in.

With Beatrice's discovery, Lucian wasn't the humble, loyal and sweet guy we knew anymore. We wondered how the perception one has about another could easily and quickly change by just finding out the truth about them.

Things were beginning to make sense now. Igatus may be the mastermind behind the killings, that was why he beat up Lucian and was angry he saved her when he wasn't supposed to intervene.

How have they stayed under the radar for so long? And I definitely know there is a third man behind the scene. Igatus mentioned him the other day. I heard him clearly.

With the revelations and events happening around me, I was becoming more distant from Aden and my fear was for him not to notice these changes. I know Aden was smart enough to pick up on the fact that something was wrong by now.
