Chapter Thirty

Kierra's POV

I didn't bother knocking on the door. I was so angry. I could hardly think straight. Did Aden know where I have been all this while and didn't reach out to me? It would break my heart if I found this to be true.

Many thoughts have been going through my mind. It brought me to one conclusion, Aden was not telling me something.

I thought it weird for me to get a job with A&D Communications within a short period.

There was a time I thought about this; that submitting the application and getting accepted for the job in A&D Communications was just too easy. But I brushed the thought away.

Aden was surprised to see me barge in without prior notice or announcement, without having any regard for his privacy.

He was alone, busy on his laptop on his desk.

"Kierra, what's the matter? Hope you are okay. He wasn't angry at the way I walked into his office.

He was rather more concerned about why I was looking the way I did.
