Chapter Twelve

Kierra's POV

"You should have stayed back"

The stranger's words were ringing in my head.

I needed to meet this man again. The sense of trying to figure out what he knew, what secrets were lurking around was eating me up.

I knew I was special. My uncle always mentions it. But he warned me to try to be normal as best as possible.

When I was eight I discovered I could lift a rock the size of our house with my bare hands. I could cause a tree to fall by just striking its trunk. I could run very fast and at eleven, shockingly I could absorb another wolf's energy making me even more powerful.

Uncle said I have these powers because I am a Primordial werewolf. In fact, I am the last of them.

He never spoke about my parents, he never told me how they both died.

He only kept on emphasizing that I had to live like other werewolves. That I had to hide my powers. He didn't reveal much to me about them or the Primordials.
