CHAPTER CLXII: FAREWELL, NEW YORK.

Angela’s POV

“What’s the problem?” Lucifer asked while looking at me skeptically. He’s probably getting confused about why I hugged him immediately as soon as I opened the door of our room and saw him. I put my arms around him, tightening the hug. He put his arms around me too as he closed the door behind him. “What’s the matter?” he asked me again. 

I pulled away from the hug and looked at him. He’s still wearing his pajama, he surely went straight here as soon as he woke up. The kids are downstairs already, they were accompanied by the maids together with Tristan. “Nothing, I just missed you so much.” 

“Why did you cry?” he narrowed his eyes at me. Here it goes, I forgot that he’s good at observing things. “H-Huh?  I-I didn’t cry…”

He suddenly cupped my face and made me look at him. “I said why did you cry? Try to lie to me and we’re not going home.”

“What?! Lucifer please let’s go home! Please…” I pleaded. He gazed at me skepticall
